Andrea Parodi World Music Award to be held in Cagliari
The 19th edition of the Andrea Parodi World Music Award will take place from October 15 to 17 at the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari, Italy. This year’s event is particularly significant as it coincides with the 20th anniversary of the passing of the renowned Sardinian musician Andrea Parodi.
Nine finalists from various regions, including Asia, the Americas, and Europe, will compete for the prestigious title. The finalists include Koyel Basu, Chiaré, Federica Fruscella, Hita Del Rio, Indelicato, Momi, Nubras Ensemble, Elana Sasson, and Angelica Perri.
The winner will receive a €2,500 scholarship and opportunities to perform at partner festivals. The competition will be judged by an international panel of music professionals, including musicians, festival directors, and critics.
