Andrea Salguero recognized as a top influencer in the fruit and vegetable sector

Andrea Salguero, General Director of Grupo Saliplant Agro, has been named one of the ‘Most Influential 2026’ in the fruit and vegetable sector. The award, presented in the ‘Woman’ category by Revista Mercados, was delivered on October 6 during the Fruit Attraction international trade fair at IFEMA Madrid.

The distinction was determined by approximately 1,000 votes from industry professionals. Salguero shares this category recognition with Cecilia Muñoz, CEO of Viveros Río Eresma. Revista Mercados highlighted Salguero’s leadership in guiding Grupo Saliplant Agro through a phase of generational continuity, professionalization, and innovation.

This recognition coincides with a milestone for Grupo Saliplant Agro, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2026. The company originated in 1986 as Semilleros Saliplant on the Costa Tropical of Granada and has since evolved into a specialized enterprise focused on technical and collaborative agriculture.
