Trinkijeri criticized the team's mentality, body language, and overall attitude during the fourth quarter, noting that even a lead of up to 27 points was insufficient to meet his standards.

Trinkijeri specifically targeted 22-year-old player Nazos Bazinas, stating that the player's performance was disappointing and may impact his future role in the rotation. The coach remarked, “I honestly don't know if you will see him in the rotation again after this game,” adding that he expects more from a player of that age. Trinkijeri clarified that his harsh criticism is intended as a challenge to provoke a reaction, stating, “I am not Santa Claus. I don't give gifts.”
