Andreas Babler faces low TV ratings during ORF interview
SPÖ leader Andreas Babler experienced a significant decline in television viewership during his recent ORF Sommergespräch interview. The broadcast averaged 517,000 viewers, representing a 23 percent market share, which is nearly 300,000 fewer viewers than the previous year's interview.
In contrast to the high viewership of the preceding news program, 'Zeit im Bild', which drew 920,000 viewers, Babler's appearance saw a sharp drop-off. This decline in interest follows recent polling that places the SPÖ at approximately 16 percent.
On a local level, Babler conducted a summer tour through Lower Austria, including visits to Tulln and Langenlebarn. During a town hall meeting in Langenlebarn, he addressed a crowd of approximately 130 supporters. While local party members expressed support for his leadership style, the tour highlighted the challenges of balancing his role as a political leader with his personal messaging.
