Andreas Kisser reflects on grief following wife's death

Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser has reflected on his grieving process following the death of his wife, Patrícia Kisser. In an interview on the podcast ‘Tantos Tempos’, Kisser discussed the profound impact of her passing, noting that the experience made him realize how fragile life is.

Patrícia Kisser, a producer and entrepreneur, passed away on July 3, 2022, at the age of 52 due to complications from colon cancer. Kisser recalled their 32-year marriage and her significant role in both his personal and professional life. He also shared how Patrícia maintained a calm attitude toward death, even making lighthearted requests regarding her comfort during her final moments, which helped prevent conflict among family members during her passing.

Kisser described the experience as a learning process, stating that death has acted as a “great teacher” regarding the importance of closing life cycles.
