Grande Fratello Vip completes cast as contestants spark controversy

The ninth edition of the reality show Grande Fratello Vip has entered its second episode, hosted by Ilary Blasi on Canale 5. The cast is now complete with the arrival of five new contestants: Andreas Müller, Guendalina Tavassi, Alex Belli, Michelle Masullo, and Alessandro Roncaccia, bringing the total number of participants to 18.

Several contestants have already sparked controversy. Simone Annicchiarico has drawn criticism for calling the show's production “analfabeti” (illiterate) and describing music by Sal Da Vinci as “musica per sottosviluppati” (music for the underdeveloped). Meanwhile, Megan Ria addressed rumors regarding her relationship with Franceska Nuredini and singer Elodie, clarifying that her bond with Nuredini was professional and based on their time in Elodie’s dance troupe.

Other notable developments include Valeria Marini providing a new account of a past incident involving a decorative apple, claiming she accidentally ingested paint. The episode also featured the first televoting results, granting immunity to contestants Carmen Di Pietro, Federica Morello, Moreno Morello, and Giancarlo Danto.
