Andreas Tetey joins ActionAid tournament to support children in Athens
Andreas Tetey, the Panathinaikos forward and recipient of the FIFPRO Player Activism Award, participated in an ActionAid football3 tournament in Kolonos, Athens. Alongside the Panhellenic Association of Footballers (PSAPP), Tetey engaged with more than 300 students from local public schools.
The football3 methodology was utilized to promote values such as gender equality, respect, cooperation, and fair play. During the event, Tetey spoke to the children about equality and sportsmanship while distributing football-related gifts prepared in collaboration with FIFPRO and PSAPP.
Additionally, through the support of Panathinaikos FC, every participating child received an invitation to attend an upcoming team match for free, accompanied by a guardian.
