Andrej Babiš delivers new ambulances and discusses family policy

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš conducted a series of official visits in the Ústí nad Labem Region. During a stop in Litoměřice, Babiš presented 17 new, modern ambulances to the Ústí Region Emergency Medical Service, an investment totaling nearly 82 million CZK. He noted that the government considers healthcare a priority, aiming to renew 27 vehicles this year for approximately 130 million CZK.

In Ústí nad Labem, Babiš attended a family policy forum alongside Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Aleš Juchelka. Addressing declining birth rates, Babiš emphasized the need to remove obstacles for young families by improving housing accessibility and increasing the availability of nurseries and kindergartens.

Separately, reports have emerged regarding a lack of coordination within the Prime Minister’s administration. It was noted that Babiš was unaware of the whereabouts of Defense Minister Jaromír Zůna for two days while the minister was attending a security conference in South Korea. The Prime Minister also faced questions regarding the Defense Minister's decision to deny the Chief of the General Staff a trip to a conference in Kyiv.
