Andrej Plenković expresses support for Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković has expressed support for the Croat population in Bosnia and Herzegovina following a meeting of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) leadership. The meeting included Darija Filipović, the elected Croat representative to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Dragan Čović, chairman of the HDZ in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Plenković congratulated Filipović and the affiliated party on the general election results and noted that they are awaiting the formation of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, followed by the establishment of institutions at other levels of government.

In domestic matters, Plenković addressed discussions in the Croatian Parliament regarding the government's annual activities and opposition proposals to remove the cabinet. He also commented on an illegal landfill in Gospić, stating that judicial authorities are reviewing the matter and confirming that public water supplies, air quality, and agriculture in the Lika-Senj County remain safe.
