Andres Fernandez builds $7 million Pokémon card business
Andres Fernandez, the founder and CEO of MintlyCollects, built a highly successful Pokémon card business after dropping out of college in Florida. Specializing in sales through the live selling platform Whatnot, Fernandez’s two accounts have amassed approximately 500,000 followers.
Fernandez transitioned from working in food service to content creation and live selling. After growing an initial following on Instagram Live, he joined Whatnot in late 2020 as one of its early Pokémon streamers. His business reportedly achieved $7.8 million in sales last year.
