Andrew and Tristan Tate face UK extradition over 59 combined charges
Andrew and Tristan Tate remain in custody in Miami as they face extradition proceedings to the United Kingdom. Andrew Tate faces a total of 42 charges, including rape, human trafficking, and sexual assault. Recent court documents reveal that British prosecutors have added 19 charges related to indecent images of a minor and extreme pornography, including material involving animals.
Tristan Tate faces 17 charges, including sexual assault, following new evidence from Bedfordshire police. Prosecutors allege the offenses occurred between July 2010 and August 2017, involving seven alleged victims in total.
Both brothers deny all allegations. Andrew Tate’s defense attorney, Joseph McBride, stated there is no evidence his client sent or participated in the flagged videos, suggesting the material may have been shared in a martial arts chat group to provoke participants. The extradition process is complicated by a previous Romanian court ruling, which stipulated that extradition to Britain could only occur after their legal proceedings in Romania conclude.
