Romanian anti-organized crime agency DIICOT has formally indicted social media influencers Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate. Andrew Tate faces charges of trafficking minors, continuous money laundering, repeated sexual acts with a minor, and influencing witness statements. Prosecutors allege that starting in 2012, Andrew Tate recruited a 15-year-old girl in Luton, UK, by feigning romantic interest. The victim was allegedly exploited for years, producing pornographic material and performing webcam activities that generated over $1.25 million in revenue. The indictment claims the victim was repeatedly transported to Romania and housed in properties in Voluntari, Tunari, and Pipera.

Additionally, Andrew Tate is accused of having sexual relations with another 15-year-old girl between December 2020 and mid-2021. Prosecutors have also requested the seizure of luxury assets valued at approximately 825,000 euros. The Tate brothers, who hold dual US and British citizenship, have denied all allegations through their legal counsel, claiming they are victims of political persecution. They currently remain in custody in the United States while facing separate extradition requests from the United Kingdom regarding rape and trafficking allegations.
