Andrew Boylan Revives Wonderland Pier's 'Man and Dog Show' with Temporary Exhibit

Andrew Boylan, a former employee of Gillian's Wonderland Pier in Ocean City, New Jersey, has assembled a collection of the park’s memorabilia and restored the classic animatronic "Man and Dog Show." The exhibit, featuring the show and a nearby Monkey Band, is on display at the Promenade Food Court on the Ocean City Boardwalk and will remain open to the public until Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Boylan first visited the pier at age two, worked there at 19, and purchased the show after the park closed in 2024. He documented the process on his YouTube channel Actors317. In 2025 he partnered with the Promenade Food Court to launch the exhibit and hopes to expand to a larger venue after the current display ends. "It really broke me inside when Wonderland closed," he said, adding, "It's just important to me to keep it going for the generation now and future generations."
