Andrew Garfield calls working with Claire Foy a career highlight ahead of 'The Magic Faraway Tree

British actor Andrew Garfield said at a New York screening of the upcoming fantasy film *The Magic Faraway Tree* that collaborating with co‑star Claire Foy is “a highlight of my career.” He recalled their first joint project, the 2017 drama *Breathe*, and praised Foy as “a rare actor and a rare human being” who taught him to let go of control and go with the flow.

Foy returned the praise, describing Garfield as a “brilliant, warm, silly person” who made the experience on set joyful, especially when working with the child cast. The film, based on Enid Blyton’s classic children’s book, also features Phoenix Laroche, Billie Gadson, Delilah Bennett‑Cardy, Nicola Coughlan, Rebecca Ferguson and Nonso Anozie, with a script by Simon Farnaby.
