Andrew Garfield open to starring in an unconventional Amazing Spider‑Man 3

Actor Andrew Garfield said in an interview with The Playlist that he would consider returning as Peter Parker for a third Amazing Spider‑Man film only if the project were "very, very odd" and completely unconventional. He suggested it could even take the form of a road‑trip movie.

Garfield’s original run as Spider‑Man ended in 2014 after The Amazing Spider‑Man 2 failed to meet Sony’s expectations, leading the studio to drop him and later reboot the franchise with Tom Holland. Holland’s recent Spider‑Man: Brand New Day set a record opening weekend and is on track to surpass a billion dollars at the box office. Garfield previously appeared in Spider‑Man: No Way Home alongside Tobey Maguire and Holland, sparking renewed fan interest in his version of the character.
