Andrew Garfield recounts emotional fan encounter in Denver

Actor Andrew Garfield shared a memorable encounter with a fan during a layover in Denver. While staying at an airport hotel, Garfield entered an elevator where he was joined by two young women attending a conference.

One of the women, wearing a Spider-Man t-shirt, recognized the actor, who previously portrayed Peter Parker in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ films and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. Garfield told People magazine that the fan looked at him ‘as if I were some kind of vision’ and asked if he was Spider-Man.

Garfield responded with humor, noting he had played the role a few times when he was younger. The encounter was emotional, with the fan becoming tearful during their brief conversation. As Garfield exited the elevator, he heard an enthusiastic scream from the fan behind him.
