Andrew Gordon appointed Western Zone men's cricket head coach

Andrew Gordon has been appointed as the head coach of the Western Zone open men's cricket team. Gordon expressed surprise at the quick selection but stated he is eager to take the reins and begin preparations for the team.

Gordon brings an extensive background to the role, having served as a captain-coach in Ballina and spent a decade playing and assistant coaching for Western Suburbs in Sydney. During his time in Sydney, he also co-chaired the Cricket NSW Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group. Most recently, he served as the head coach for Orange City, a club where he previously won three premierships as a player.
