Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor awarded compensation after surrendering Royal Lodge lease
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been awarded 302,000 pounds (approximately $400,000) in compensation following the surrender of his lease on Royal Lodge, according to the Crown Estate. The 30-room mansion near Windsor Castle was the longtime home of the former Duke of York before he was evicted earlier this year by King Charles III. The eviction followed the loss of his royal titles amid public scrutiny regarding his association with Jeffrey Epstein.
In a separate development, a luxury Bentley Flying Spur believed to have belonged to Mountbatten-Windsor has been listed for sale at a dealership in Doncaster. Advertised as an ‘Ex Royal Family Car’, the vehicle features a personalised ‘A03 DOY’ number plate and is priced at £124,975. The car reportedly has 7,000 miles on the odometer and is finished in Barnato racing green.
