Andrew Warwick promoted to West Virginia football linebacker coach

Andrew Warwick has been promoted to full-time linebacker coach for the West Virginia University football program. Previously serving as a senior defensive assistant and assistant linebackers coach, Warwick now oversees a linebacker room that includes returning player Ben Cutter, Cam Torbor, several freshmen, and various veteran transfers.

Warwick, an Oklahoma City native and former player at Knox College, faces the challenge of determining which athletes are ready for immediate play following the departures of Reid Carrico and Chase Wilson. He emphasized that linebacker play at this level requires rapid, game-time decision-making.
