Andrew Webster signs long-term extension with New Zealand Warriors

The New Zealand Warriors have announced a contract extension for head coach Andrew Webster, securing his position with the club until at least the end of the 2032 NRL season.

By signing this extension, Webster is set to become the longest-serving coach in the history of the Warriors, surpassing the previous record held by Ivan Cleary. Since joining the club in 2023, Webster has led the team to consecutive finals appearances in 2025 and 2026.

Warriors CEO Cameron George praised Webster for his ability to establish a sustainable culture and develop young talent, describing him as one of the best head coaches currently in the NRL. Webster expressed his gratitude and excitement about remaining in Auckland to pursue the club’s first premiership.
