Andrógena apologizes to Carolina Perpetuo for age-related remarks

Venezuelan presenter Andrógena has issued a public apology to actress Carolina Perpetuo following controversial remarks made during a broadcast of the program ‘Ronda’ on Meridiano TV. During the live segment, Andrógena referred to Perpetuo as a ‘dinosaur’ and suggested that retirement was approaching, a comment aimed at the actress's age.

Andrógena stated that the remark was an impulsive, unscripted comment that exceeded the boundaries of the show’s usual dark humor. She acknowledged that the situation ‘got out of control’ and extended her apologies to Perpetuo, her followers, and the viewing public.

Perpetuo responded to the incident by stating that while being called a ‘dinosaur’ did not personally bother her, she lamented the lack of creativity and respect shown by a media professional. She emphasized the importance of maintaining composure and professionalism when working in communications.
