Andrii Sybiha meets with Ukrainian honorary consuls in the U.S

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with Ukraine’s honorary consuls in the United States to discuss diplomatic strategies and support for Ukrainian communities. Sybiha emphasized that supporting the hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians living in the U.S. is a top priority for the ministry.

During the meeting, Sybiha highlighted the role of honorary consuls in defending Ukraine’s interests, uniting diaspora communities, and promoting Ukrainian language and culture. Discussions also covered practical assistance for communities located near the front lines in Ukraine and initiatives supporting the rehabilitation of Ukrainian children through visits to the U.S.

Furthermore, the Foreign Minister noted that expanding regional and economic cooperation between cities, businesses, and communities in both nations is essential for building lasting relations and creating new opportunities for Ukraine. Sybiha described the group as a “unified diplomatic team” responsible for strengthening the country’s voice and interests abroad.
