Andrii Sybiha warns against Russian manipulation of history

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has issued a statement regarding the 87th anniversary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, the 1939 non-aggression agreement between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Sybiha characterized the two regimes as ‘two totalitarian monsters’ that used secret protocols to divide Europe and trigger World War II.

Sybiha criticized the current Russian leadership, stating that the Putin regime has spent decades attempting to justify the pact and rewrite history to fit Russian ideological myths. He emphasized the need to defend historical justice and warned that the policy of appeasement leads to greater conflict rather than peace.
