Andrija Delibašić to receive posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award

The Budva Sports & Arts Film Festival 2026 will posthumously award Andrija Delibašić the Lifetime Achievement Award this September. The recognition serves as a tribute to his career and his significant contributions to Montenegrin sports.

Delibašić was a prominent figure in Montenegrin football, notably scoring a historic equalizer against England in 2011 that helped secure Montenegro's place in the European Championship playoffs. During his club career, he played for several major European teams, including Benfica, Braga, and Real Sociedad. He is also remembered for scoring all three of FK Partizan's goals during their 2003/04 UEFA Champions League group stage campaign.

Following his playing career, Delibašić worked as a coach and sports professional. He passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 44.
