Andrijana Tatar signs with HC Dunărea Brăila
Montenegrin pivot Andrijana Tatar has signed with the Romanian handball club HC Dunărea Brăila. The 30-year-old experienced player joins the team to fill the pivot position following the departure of Sofie Bardrum in September.
Tatar, who has previously played in Romania for Mioveni and Baia Mare, will wear the number 10 jersey. Her contract is set to take effect in January 2027. The signing comes as the club seeks to bolster its squad for the EHF European League, where the team is currently competing.
Tatar is returning to professional competition after recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament rupture sustained in February. She was a member of the Montenegro national team during the 2025 World Championship.
