ANDRITZ receives order for filtration material production line from Shandong Huazhe

Shandong Huazhe Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. has ordered a high-speed needlepunch line from the international technology group ANDRITZ. The equipment is intended for the production of advanced filtration materials made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fiber.

The new line will be installed at Shandong Huazhe’s headquarters in Jinan, Shandong Province, China. This project marks the first commercial application of ANDRITZ’s A-Type needleloom and will be the company’s first PTFE filtration material production line.

The order follows a previous cooperation between the two companies that began in 2023. Delivery of the new line is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. While the specific value of the contract was not disclosed, it has been included in ANDRITZ’s order intake for the third quarter of 2026.
