ANDRITZ secures multi-million euro orders from Nanning Sun Paper

ANDRITZ has secured repeat orders from Nanning Sun Paper to provide process technology and equipment for a third pulp mill line and a new paper machine in Guangxi Province, China. The total value of these contracts is in the mid double-digit million-euro range.

The scope of supply includes equipment for chip storage and screening, a high-kappa fiberline capable of processing up to 1,500 adt/d of softwood and 2,200 adt/d of hardwood, and a new recovery boiler designed to maximize green electricity production with low emissions. Additionally, a white liquor plant with an integrated gasifier will be provided to enable fossil-free lime kiln operations.

For the PM21 paper machine, ANDRITZ will supply refining, screening, and approach flow systems to support the production of high-quality packaging paper. The equipment is scheduled to be commissioned by mid-2027.
