Android 15 introduces automatic protection for sensitive data during screen sharing

Google is enhancing mobile security by introducing a feature in Android 15 that automatically hides sensitive information during screen sharing. This update aims to prevent the accidental exposure of passwords, login credentials, and payment or credit card details to others during remote sessions.

The improved protection extends to the Chrome web browser and Android WebView, which allows applications to display web content. This feature is being rolled out gradually to devices running Android 15 and newer versions. While this provides significant security for mobile users, there is currently no official confirmation regarding similar protections for desktop operating systems like Windows or macOS.
