Google rolls out Android 17 updates to Pixel, Xiaomi and other devices

Google has begun distributing Android 17 updates across several device families. The stable Android 17 release is now available for Pixel smartphones, with the QPR1 Beta 6 reaching compatible models as the platform reaches API stability. Xiaomi started delivering HyperOS 3.3, built on Android 17, to its flagship Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra devices in Europe, while a limited beta of the same update is available for the Xiaomi 15T Pro through the Mi Pilot program. Xiaomi’s rollout, announced in both Spanish and Arabic sources, also includes a broader list of newer Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO models that will receive the update in the coming weeks. Separately, Google issued a corrective update for Android Auto 17.2 to address connection drops and crashes experienced by a limited number of users, particularly on non‑certified aftermarket head‑units. These coordinated updates extend Android 17’s reach beyond Google’s own Pixel line to major Chinese manufacturers and improve related services such as Android Auto.
