Android Auto and Apple CarPlay displays offer vehicle upgrades

Drivers can upgrade older vehicles with modern infotainment features using portable Android Auto and Apple CarPlay displays. These devices typically connect via the cigarette lighter and use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to establish a connection with a smartphone, providing access to navigation, music, and hands-free calling without requiring professional installation.

Several models are currently available at reduced prices. The Krunia RC06 features a 9.26-inch touchscreen and includes a rearview camera. The Adelagnes P1 Pro offers a larger 11.5-inch screen and functions as both an infotainment display and a 4K dashcam. Additionally, wireless connectivity can be achieved in many newer vehicles through built-in settings, or via smart adapters for those requiring a wireless upgrade.

To set up wireless Android Auto in compatible vehicles, users must enable both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on their smartphones, pair the device with the car's infotainment system, and follow the on-screen prompts to grant necessary permissions.
