Android Auto update addresses Spotify errors and connection issues

Google has released an update for Android Auto, version 17.4, to address several technical issues reported by users. The update aims to resolve bugs including frozen images, audio interruptions, and connection drops that occurred in previous versions such as 17.1, 17.2, and 17.3.

One specific issue addressed is a bug where the Spotify application would fail to launch, displaying an error message stating “Spotify does not respond” instead of the standard user interface.

Users are advised to check the Google Play Store for the update, which is being rolled out gradually. To ensure stability, Google recommends using certified USB cables shorter than one meter and ensuring that both the Android system and Google Play Services are also up to date.
