Android hardware news: Pixel 11 Pro benchmarks and Galaxy S26 FE launch

Recent developments in the Android ecosystem highlight significant hardware performance gaps and new product launches. Benchmarks for the Google Pixel 11 Pro reveal that while its Tensor G6 chip is 20% faster than the previous G5 generation, it remains nearly 35% slower in single-core performance compared to the Galaxy S26 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Additionally, the Tensor chip trails competitors in machine learning tasks according to quantized AI scores.

Samsung has also launched the Galaxy S26 FE, a mid-range device designed to balance functionality with cost-efficiency. The device is expected to utilize Samsung’s homegrown Exynos 2500 3nm chipset, a significant upgrade from the Exynos 2400 used in the previous S25 FE model.
