Andrés and César clash on First Dates, ending in a heated exit
The Spanish dating show First Dates on Telecinco featured a volatile encounter between two Venezuelan participants. César, a 27‑year‑old who previously called off his wedding after discovering his fiancé’s infidelity, sat opposite Andrés, a 29‑year‑old stylist who has lived in Spain for several years. Early in the dinner César criticised Andrés’s appearance and masculinity, calling him “not macho enough” and accusing him of being “a person who lies”. Andrés responded by questioning the contradictions in César’s comments and offered to stay in touch via Instagram, but César rejected the gesture and demanded to leave.
The tension escalated until César stood up and declared the date over, describing Andrés as “a false person”. Staff from the restaurant, owned by Carlos Sober, attempted to intervene, but the pair separated before the program could mediate further. The episode was highlighted by the show’s hosts as one of its most contentious dates.
