The Spanish dating show First Dates on Telecinco featured a volatile encounter between two Venezuelan participants. César, a 27‑year‑old who previously called off his wedding after discovering his fiancé’s infidelity, sat opposite Andrés, a 29‑year‑old stylist who has lived in Spain for several years. Early in the dinner César criticised Andrés’s appearance and masculinity, calling him “not macho enough” and accusing him of being “a person who lies”.
