Andrés Calamaro announces Chile tour

Argentine musician Andrés Calamaro is returning to Chile for his ‘Como cantor’ tour. The tour is scheduled to begin on August 25 at the Movistar Arena, shortly after the artist celebrates his 65th birthday.

Despite performing a repertoire that includes many of his classic hits, Calamaro has stated that he does not practice nostalgia, noting that dwelling on the past can ‘kidnap the present.’ He emphasizes the improvisational and evolving nature of live music. While he has not released a collection of new original songs since 2018, he continues to focus on his role as a live performer.
