Andrés Calamaro performs career retrospective in Rosario
Musician Andrés Calamaro performed a two-hour concert at the Metropolitano in Rosario as part of his “Como cantor” tour. The event, attended by approximately 8,000 people, featured a 25-song repertoire spanning over four decades of his career, including hits from his time with Los Abuelos de la Nada, Los Rodríguez, and his solo work.
During the performance, Calamaro included several tributes. He dedicated “Cuando no estás” to the recently deceased artists Rubén Rada, Daniel Melingo, and Miguel Zabaleta. He also honored jazz saxophonist Gato Barbieri and composer Mariano Mores during the song “Jugar con fuego.”
Additional highlights included a tribute to Diego Maradona and a mention of Lionel Messi. The setlist concluded with a series of popular tracks such as “Mil horas,” “Flaca,” and “Sin documentos.”
