Andrés Iniesta begins coaching career at Gulf United FC

Andrés Iniesta has transitioned into coaching, currently serving as the head coach for Gulf United FC in the United Arab Emirates. The 42-year-old former Barcelona and Spanish national team legend noted that coaching presents more stress than playing due to the increased need to manage complex tactical scenarios and player management.

Iniesta is currently working toward his UEFA Pro license. While his immediate focus remains on his role in the UAE, he expressed that returning to manage FC Barcelona in the future would be “very lovely,” though he noted it is not a path he had originally planned as a child.

In addition to his coaching career, Iniesta has launched an immersive exhibition titled “Iniesta Experience: El juego interior” in Barcelona. The exhibit is designed to allow fans to revisit key moments of his professional career and personal journey, including his time at La Masia and his successes with the Spanish national team.
