Andrzej Domański rejects continued use of Russian resources
Polish Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domański has declared that Poland will not agree to a return to 'business as usual' with Russia. Speaking at the 4th Polish-German Economic Forum in Warsaw, Domański emphasized that Poland will not permit the continued use of Russian raw materials, specifically including Russian gas.
Domański urged European partners to learn from past mistakes and move away from what he termed 'economic naivety.' He argued that Europe must build competitive advantages, combat unnecessary bureaucracy, and develop competitive energy markets to face current geopolitical and technological challenges. He also noted the importance of securing critical raw materials necessary for rapid technological advancement.
