Andrzej Zaucha mural unveiled in Kraków

A large-scale mural of the late Polish musician Andrzej Zaucha has been unveiled in Kraków at Mogilska 43b. Created by street artist Piotr TUSE Jaworski, the portrait depicts Zaucha singing and is positioned approximately 200 meters from his former residence.

The project was initiated by the Andrzej Zaucha Foundation and is part of this year’s Zaucha Fest, which commemorates the 35th anniversary of the artist's death. The mural's placement underwent official administrative procedures, receiving recommendations from the City's Chief Artist and the Municipal Conservator of Monuments.

Zaucha Fest includes various commemorative activities, such as masterclass workshops, the II Andrzej Zaucha Memorial Kayak Race, and concerts in both Gdańsk and Kraków.
