Anduril and ORIGIN sign MoU for counter-drone integration

Defense technology companies ORIGIN and Anduril Industries have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore the integration of ORIGIN’s BLAZE autonomous counter-drone interceptor with Anduril’s Lattice command-and-control platform.

The collaboration aims to develop a layered counter-unmanned aerial system (counter-UAS) capability intended to support Latvia and other NATO countries located along the alliance’s eastern flank. The agreement includes plans for joint testing, demonstrations, and validation activities within Latvia to assess how the technologies function together within an air defense architecture.

The MoU was signed during a Latvian business trade mission in the United States, coinciding with an official visit by the President of Latvia. Under the agreement, the companies will work on concept-of-operations development, data sharing, and assessments of mission effectiveness. The Lattice platform is designed to fuse data from various sensors and unmanned systems into a single operating layer to provide real-time situational awareness.
