Andy Borg announces production changes and upcoming tour dates
Schlager artist Andy Borg is preparing for several professional transitions and milestones. Starting in 2027, his television program ‘Schlager-Spaß mit Andy Borg’ will move its production from the SWR studios in Baden-Baden to Mahlberg in the Ortenau district. Borg expressed confidence in the move, emphasizing his commitment to maintaining the show's characteristic warmth and musical focus while remaining loyal to the Southwest region.
Regarding his career longevity, the 65-year-old performer stated that he has no immediate plans to retire, noting that he will only step away if he loses his passion for music and connection with the audience. He is currently celebrating his 250th live show.
Borg is also expanding his live presence with a special Christmas tour titled ‘Schlager & Spaß mit Andy Borg zur Weihnachtszeit’ scheduled for 2026 and 2027. Additionally, a special live broadcast titled ‘Für die Herzenssache – Schlager-Spaß mit Andy Borg’ is set for November 20, 2026, on SWR Fernsehen. This event will feature various musical guests, including Dunja Rajter and the Esteriore Brothers, to support the ‘Herzenssache’ children's aid project.
