Andy Buchanan wins City2Surf 14km race

More than 90,000 participants took part in the annual 14-kilometre City2Surf race. Andy Buchanan, a 35-year-old Victorian and former Australian marathon record holder, won the men's race with a time of 40 minutes and 27 seconds.

In the women's category, 30-year-old Holly Campbell secured first place with a time of 46:35, finishing at Bondi. This marked her first time competing in the elite category.

The event, known as the world's largest fun run, featured many participants in costumes raising funds for charity. Since 2008, the race has raised over $63 million for various causes.
