Andy Cohen discloses childcare costs on SiriusXM

During an episode of ‘Andy Cohen Live’ on SiriusXM, television personality Andy Cohen disclosed that he pays his 23-year-old babysitter $30 per hour to care for his two children.

Guest Jeff Lewis criticized the rate, describing it as ‘cheap’ given Cohen’s wealth and suggesting that the payment might not even cover transportation costs. Lewis noted that he pays $37 per hour for his own daughter’s childcare. Cohen clarified that for a recent session lasting two hours and fifteen minutes, he paid the sitter $70.

While Lewis expressed disagreement with the amount, social media commentary suggested that $30 per hour is a typical rate for childcare in New York City.
