Andy Karl to star in Off-Broadway production of ‘A Christmas Carol’

Andy Karl has been cast as Ebenezer Scrooge in the Perelman Performing Arts Center’s (PAC NYC) upcoming holiday production of ‘A Christmas Carol’. The three-time Tony Award nominee will lead the second annual run of the production, which is scheduled to run from November 20, 2026, through January 3, 2027.

The production is an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic story by Jack Thorne, with direction by Matthew Warchus. This staging, which originated at London’s Old Vic, is designed to surround the audience with the action as it follows Scrooge through his journey of Christmas past, present, and future.

As part of the 2026–27 season, PAC NYC announced that performances will collect donations for Hunger Free America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing domestic hunger.
