Andy Murray to continue supporting Jack Draper's 2027 comeback
Andy Murray has confirmed his intention to continue supporting Jack Draper as the British tennis player prepares for a return to competition at the start of the 2027 season.
Draper, who reached a career-high ATP ranking of No. 4 in June 2025, has seen his ranking fall to No. 155 following a period dominated by injuries. Physical issues, including problems with his left arm and knee, forced him to miss all four Grand Slam tournaments in 2026 and led to an early end to his season. His last professional appearance was a loss to Martin Landaluce at the Cincinnati Open in August.
The partnership between the two Britons began earlier this year after Draper split with Jamie Delgado. While the collaboration was initially intended to focus on the grass-court season, Draper’s health challenges complicated their plans. Murray noted that Draper’s current ranking may necessitate the use of wildcards to enter major tournaments upon his return.
