Andy Roddick: A look at the career of the former world No. 1

Andy Roddick’s tennis career is often characterized by his single Grand Slam title, but his broader achievements suggest a more significant legacy. A former world No. 1, Roddick held the top ranking for 13 weeks starting in November 2003 and maintained a position in the ATP top 10 for nine consecutive seasons from 2002 to 2010.

Throughout his career, Roddick secured 32 ATP titles, including five Masters 1000 championships. He reached five Grand Slam finals, including three Wimbledon finals, though his path was frequently obstructed by Roger Federer. His major title came at the 2003 US Open, where he defeated Juan Carlos Ferrero in the final.
