Andy Weir teases new sci-fi audio project Exoplanet
Exoplanet, a new Audible Original audio sci-fi thriller, is scheduled for release on November 5. The project is executive produced by Andy Weir and written by Benjamin Percy.
The story follows a team of astronauts whose ship is destroyed by a quantum anomaly. This event causes the surviving crew members to crash-land in different time eras on the same exoplanet. The cast includes Anthony Mackie as Chief Engineer Jeff Shaw, Ariana DeBose as First Officer Becca Bang, and John Leguizamo as Science Officer Logan Bowers.
According to the creators, the narrative explores three distinct timelines: a hostile alien past, an unforgiving present, and a machine-ruled future.
