Aned official highlights impact of organ donation

Roberta Borrelli, a national councilor for the National Association of Hemodialysis (Aned), emphasized the life-changing impact of organ and tissue donation during the presentation of the docufilm ‘Vite in campo’ at the Rome Film Festival.

The film follows the experiences of transplanted athletes from the Aned Sport national tennis team. Borrelli noted that these athletes serve as witnesses to how donation allows individuals to ‘be reborn’ through the gifts provided by others. The docufilm was directed by Donatella Romani and Roberto Amato, with non-conditional support from Chiesi Italia.
