Aneih highlights judicial reform as key to attracting investment

The National Association of Companies and Industries Herrera (Aneih) has stated that strengthening institutions and modernizing the justice system are critical factors for attracting investment, boosting entrepreneurship, and increasing job creation in the Dominican Republic.

Francis Mateo, first vice president of Aneih, emphasized that clear rules and efficient, independent judicial processes build the confidence necessary for economic production. He highlighted the importance of ongoing regulatory reforms being promoted by the Executive Branch, including constitutional reforms and the new Organic Law of the Ministry of Justice.

During a recent conference, Justice Minister Antoliano Peralta discussed these legislative changes. Mateo called for continued dialogue and social consensus to ensure that institutional reforms effectively meet the country's needs and aspirations.
