Anely Dávila leaves cumbia group La Bella Luz
Singer Anely Dávila has announced her departure from the cumbia group La Bella Luz. In a statement shared on social media, the 19-year-old artist explained that she decided to step aside for personal reasons after significant reflection.
Dávila stated, “It is time to close this stage and move forward with new dreams and goals.” While she did not provide specific details regarding her personal reasons, she emphasized that the decision was not easy. She expressed gratitude to the group's owners, Óscar Custodio and Pilar Torres, as well as her colleagues and the public for their support during her time with the orchestra.
Her exit follows recent public scrutiny of the group following allegations made by Naldy Saldaña against the former musical director, César Sánchez Chavesta. However, Dávila did not link her departure to these controversies, focusing instead on her desire to pursue new artistic milestones.
