Anemotia, Lesvos, to host local distillation festival in November

The village of Anemotia on Lesvos will host the 6th Friendship and Communication Meeting, a local distillation festival, on November 14 and 15, 2026. Organized by the Anemotia Viticulturists Association ‘O Kampos’ and the ‘Hephaestus of Anemotia’ Cooperative, the event will take place at the Rakokazano in Vrysara.

The festival features experiential demonstrations of traditional distillation at the Small Distillery, alongside tastings of local spirits. The program includes musical performances by various artists, such as Babajim the Band, and community activities like environmental walks and photography exhibitions.

A central theme of this year’s event is fostering cooperation between cooperative and local businesses, professionals, and communities. Through workshops and open discussions, organizers aim to create sustainable partnerships to strengthen the local economy and support the long-term viability of Lesvos villages.
